Well followed blogger, Sarah Bellamy (sarecity.com), and Kyle Gibson, co-owner of Wheel House Cycle Club are building their first home with us... and we've decided to follow them along in the process!

We're busy gearing up and planning the build of our showhome in Westerra, which will feature a BRAND NEW Freedom Series plan that promises to impress first time home buyers, who are looking for that more executive feeling home! Our Provincial Government has announced a new First Home Plan for Saskatchewan residents - specifically students that qualify for the Graduate Retention Program (GRP). Beginning May 1, 2016, GRP recipients will be able to use up to $10,000 of their unused GRP benefits toward the down payment on the purchase of a first home.

In our most recent Freedom showhome, we had pleasure of working with a great local Regina business, Hello Baby! Sharolyn and her team were gracious enough to furnish the nursery and kids room, and we had a ton of fun working with them.

That moment when you’re laying in bed on Saturday morning, looking on Pinterest and the words “our bedroom needs a small makeover” come out of your mouth. I am pretty sure James, my husband, cringed the moment he heard those words, because after 13 years together he knows 2 things too well about me: 1) Nothing I want is ever “small” and 2) when I start a project I am terrible at knowing where to stop.
